Begin with head and face
Learn gentle touch and awareness
00An introduction to Huacheng Daofa
Start with the course sequence and a comfortable practice boundary. Settle into an easy standing or seated posture and let your breathing remain natural before choosing one lesson or a short sequence.
Lesson map
- 01Starting posture
- 02Natural breathing
- 03Learning sequence
Practice note There is no need to finish the whole course; stop if you feel uncomfortable.
01Three Gentle Taps
Begin with three gentle touches around the head and face. Learn each position, find a light touch, then connect the small movements.
Lesson map
- 01Forehead point
- 02Behind the ears
- 03Chin point
Practice note Use light touch around the face; do not press hard.
02Scalp and Face Care
Use your hands like a comb, moving from gentle scalp combing to light face sweeping. Slow down and notice the direction and feeling of each movement.
Lesson map
- 01Scalp combing
- 02Face sweeping
Practice note Keep the touch soft and avoid irritated or broken skin.
03Restful Eye-Area Practice
Warm the palms, then explore light touch around the eye socket and temples. Finish with small eye movements, without trying to stretch the range.
Lesson map
- 01Warm palms
- 02Temple touch
- 03Small figure-eight eye movement
Practice note Never press on the eyeballs; seek advice if you have eye symptoms.
04Ear-Area Practice
Explore gentle movements around the outer ear and its base, then learn where tooth tapping and the traditional “heavenly drum” fit in the sequence. Practise each separately before combining them.
Lesson map
- 01Ear touch and coordination
- 02Ear-base rubbing and tooth tapping
- 03Heavenly drum
Practice note Skip ear movements if the area is sensitive, painful or being treated.
05Nose-Area Touch and Breathing
Move from light nose-area touch to observing your breath. Locate the named areas around the nose, then finish with comfortable abdominal breathing.
Lesson map
- 01Nose-side area
- 02Upper nose area
- 03Bridge touch
- 04Abdominal breathing
Practice note Do not force deep breaths; reduce or skip touch if the nose feels uncomfortable.
06Tongue and Attention Practice
Use small tongue movements to explore mouth coordination and attention. Begin with side-to-side extension, then learn circling and light tapping.
Lesson map
- 01Side-to-side extension
- 02Tongue circles
- 03Light tapping
Practice note Keep movements small and light; rest if the jaw becomes tired.

Move shoulders and hands
Move from local touch to easy mobility
07Shoulder and Neck Mobility
Bring attention to the shoulders and neck with slow side bends, shoulder rolls and back opening. Find a comfortable range before coordinating with natural breathing.
Lesson map
- 01Neck side bends
- 02Shoulder rolls
- 03Back opening
Practice note Avoid jerking the head, forcing a stretch or holding your breath.
08Gentle Whole-Body Tapping
Learn the four paired areas: underarms, inner elbows, hip creases and behind the knees. Move from top to bottom with a gentle tapping or sweeping rhythm.
Lesson map
- 01Underarms
- 02Inner elbows
- 03Hip creases
- 04Behind knees
Practice note Use light touch only where comfortable; avoid wounds or swollen areas.
09Hand Mobility Practice
Move the hands gently, from fingertip touches to opening at the finger bases. Finish with light contact along the outer palm and notice how each hand feels.
Lesson map
- 01Fingertip touch
- 02Finger opening
- 03Outer-palm tapping
Practice note Reduce the range or pause if the joints hurt.

Explore upper and lower limbs
Build a clear map of traditional points
10Six Upper-Limb Meridian Points
Treat six traditional upper-limb points as a location map. Learn their names and approximate positions first, then identify them one by one without adding pressure.
Lesson map
- 01Chize
- 02Shaohai
- 03Neiguan
- 04Hegu
- 05Houxi
- 06Waiguan
Practice note This is an outline; use the teaching demonstration for specific locations.
11Six Lower-Limb Meridian Points
Study six traditional lower-limb points in the same order: names, locations and gentle guided practice. You can watch while seated to build a sense of where they are.
Lesson map
- 01Sanyinjiao
- 02Zusanli
- 03Taixi
- 04Weizhong
- 05Yanglingquan
- 06Taichong
Practice note If pregnant, injured or managing a condition, ask a qualified professional first.

Breath and whole-body flow
Bring the sequence together at your own pace
12Chest Opening and Breath
Begin with gentle chest-area touch, then link a soft exhale with opening the arms on an inhale. The optional cough in the teaching script is only for when needed, not a required movement.
Lesson map
- 01Chest-area touch
- 02Optional cough
- 03Soften on exhale
- 04Open on inhale
- 05Breath and movement
Practice note Keep breathing natural; stop if you feel chest tightness or shortness of breath.
13A Whole-Body Closing Sequence
Close with arm opening, side reaches, light touch and easy arm swings. Connect only the movements you know well into a short personal closing sequence.
Lesson map
- 01Arm opening
- 02Side reaches
- 03Light waist-area touch
- 04Easy arm swings
- 05Short sequence
Practice note Finish comfortably; repetitions and intensity are not the measure of progress.
